This little spot is fantastic. Jack Rose Libations is a hidden gem off of Highway 9 between Saratoga and Los Gatos. This hip little bar looks like a designer built hunting cabin on the inside, complete with craft cocktails and stylish lounge areas.

Their outdoor beer garden is exactly the kind of place you want to hang out on a relaxed Friday night. Sadly, it’s only open at night in the summer on Fridays, but you can enjoy a fabulous Sunday brunch out there from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. year-round. If you make it out there in the summer, you can enjoy the sunset while playing cornhole, listening to music and enjoying their special menu (think amazing pizza, pretzels and sausages). Word to the wise, the “small plates” served inside are truly small. Much to the dismay of our table, the plate of bacon-wrapped dates I ordered came with a mere three dates; so I wouldn’t plan to share much.
